We had this crazy idea: what if building a home could be as easy as playing a video game? Mohammed jumped in full-time, Rufaeda part-time, and we started experimenting with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and some basic sensors. The goal was simple—make a robot that can lay bricks and help with construction.
We built our first working robot. It could lay bricks and do simple measurements. We showed it to DIYers and contractors to see what they thought. DIYers loved it! Contractors were intrigued but warned us we’d need OSHA compliance and low costs to be useful.
We joined the Heriot Watt Global Business Incubation program. This gave us workspace, lab access, and mentorship. With that, we built a better version of our robot with smarter sensors, robotic arms, and easier controls.
